After playing the bass and the electric guitar in various Rythm'N'Blues and Rock'N'Roll line-ups, Peter discovered even though quite late in life - that his old love for bands like Fairport Convention and Steeleye Span, had matured into a need to actually play that type of music. He bought his accordeon, and it was love at first sight. Together with his interest in Irish and Scottish history and culture, things developed quickly, and soon Jigs, Reels, and Polkas sounded their way out from the never resting accordeon.
Along with playing in local bands, interpreting Irish music into Danish variants, Peter founded the first edition of Boys of Bluehill, together with Karsten. The lineup changed quickly and the joining of Scotsman Fraser Neil, brought authenticity and drive to both Peter's playing and the band as a whole
With todays close lineup, consisting of Peter, Karsten, William and Norrie - a long journey has reached it's peak and the future is looking bright for Boys of Bluehill.
