Karsten got his first guitar in 1962 and seven years later in 1969, he played his first gig at the local school. Ever since he's played rock, folk, country, bluegrass and jazz as the exceptional guitarplayer he is.
From 1976 until 1987 he also appeared as a stand-in musician for a number of Danish bands and soloists. He started to play the bass in 1975.
Karsten founded Boys of Bluehill with Peter Yde in 1996 as a natural result of a very big interest for Scottish and Irish music, and even today that's where his heart is.
